With only three weeks to go before the big summer trip to Scotland it was a bit late to start hill training, but it was a start and good to catch up with Neil. Weather was hot and I was quite dehydrated after the first climb, thank goodness for the pit stop at the Pen y Gwryd (pity there won't be any such opportunities on our Scotland oddessy). My legs felt the effort, although I had done a good 10 mile walk the evening before. Onwards and upwards for Scotland.
