Cat Bells, Maiden Moor and High Spy

Set off nice and early and was first to arrive in the Little Town car park. Set off back into Little Town and then followed the path up to the top of Cat Bells. Cat Bells was completely free of other walkers and I got some fantastic pictures of Derwent Water below.

We then moved on to Maiden Moor, following the path to the top. From here we could just about see the path to High Spy peaking out of the cloud.

The cloud had cleared as we reached the top of High Spy, and we were rewarded with stunning views all around.

From here we took a little detour to Dalehead Tarn, before going back down the valley and into Little town.

A nice morning stroll, making best use of some quality weather!

Cat Bells was completely free of other walkers

Well there's a phrase you don't hear often  That must be your reward for getting up and at it in good time mate

Looks nice. I had my first taste of walking in the Lake District earlier this month and cannot wait to get back to gems like these. :D
