On a nice day out to Hawes we decided to take in Dodd Fell Hill and Drumaldrace before stopping for some cheese at the Wendsleydale creamery. Once the mist clearer it was a scorching day.
Dodd Fell Hill has virtually nothing to recommend it apart from a great view of the three peaks. But even that didn't seem worth it after a relentless boggy haggy stomp over the fells southern flank.

A much more pleasant walk was had once we retraced our steps back to the Roman Road and took in Drumaldrace. However open access at this point had been restricted due to ground nesting birds so we could only follow the path up and back again before a nice decent through pastures and green lanes via public footpaths.
