Northern Ullswater Round.Set of early again and headed for Pooley Bridge. Parked on the road leading up to Heughscar Hill and set off from there toward Arthurs Pike.
As soon as we set off the cloud descended, the waterproofs were definitely tested on this trip. We made our way across the fell side and up onto Arthurs Pike.
Through the rain we walked further around to Bonscale Pike, spending a while trying to figure out what the trig like columns were for...
From here we moved across country to Loadpot Hill, and followed straight down to Wether Hill.
Descended the side of Wether Hill, marked as a path but I couldn't find one! and along to Steel knotts.
We walked across the top of Steel Knots and descended into the valley. From here we followed the Ullswater Way back to Pooley Bridge, and back up to the car.
This has taken me over 100 Wainwrights which I am delighted about, albeit absolutely exhausted!
