Over on the (very slow) ferry for a brief first trip to this sleepy island. Really good walk around the chalk cliffs of the far east coast.
And then brief visits to the highpoints of the downs above the south coast.
Brighstone Down (pleasant woods and heaths, very rough and thorny on the final stretch):

St Boniface Down (the top of the island, inaccessible, but good climb over the coast, feral goats a surprise):
