This walk which is a short, does benefit from lots of interest along the way. It has views, history, architecture, museums and a daily firing of a cannon!!!
The route we took can be broken down into two halves. The first was along the main streets in Valletta which includes a few points of interest along with many shops. The second half was a walk around the city wall which gave great views in all directions. The best of the views from each of the Barrakka gardens, lower and upper.
A visit to Malta is not complete without a walk around Valletta, we really enjoyed it.
