Work again saw me in the North East and during my last visit Roseberry Topping had left such a striking impression on me that I just had to go back and climb the Cleveland Matterhorn after I finished my event in Middlesborough.

Stunning night and a stunning little hill.

Not surprisingly it is popular with good approach paths

3 Steep path.JPG
There's many easy more gradual paths initially but I opted for the direct route which was pretty steep and eroded

The top cliff is pretty sheer
