On this walk our group headed out in taxis before heading along trails to Cerro Verde which at 1346m is a moderately sized peak in this region. The weather was clear at the start but we was surrounded by cloud within seconds on reaching the summit.
The route back involved walking in very heavy rain with stream crossings much more treacherous then the outward part of the walk.

That map looks like an Explore brochure. We did their trip to Montenegro last year and thoroughly enjoyed the walking in the Durmitor National Park.
