A lovely evening walk on my way home from working at the Great Yorkshire Show.

Good paths in the estates, interesting hills and a beautiful river.

The descent from here was incredibly rough and untamed. Hard work to say the least.

After aiming for the edge of the forestry I found a bit of a path - overgrown but much better than what I was doing

On a better track now as I descend to the River Wharfe

The Strid - I was really keen to see this. An interesting (and sometimes fatal?) part of the river. Popular...but not at 7pm.
