Working at the Royal Lancashire Show this weekend but found time afterwards on the Saturday for a quick walk up Easington and Waddington Fells.

Easington is a Marilyn located between the main Bowland fells and Pendle Hill and it was well overdue a visit for me.

The road that crosses between the two summits put me off a visit any earlier but walked from Waddington it's an easy steady plod to a very good viewpoint.

Fast walking/jogging back down the road from the quarry workings.

Looking over to Waddington Fell - really another top of the same fell but dissected by the road to make it feel like a seperate hill
