Working at weekend so took advantage of an early finish in Manchester for a dash up Bleaklow via the Pennine Way.

Always a race against time with the lack of light and car park closing early. Had to get a jog on at various points on the descent.

Windy but a well sheltered route and some pleasant sunshine.

Higher up you hit the vast plateau but the path is still good
