I can't really remember too much about the day only that it was largely uneventful and pleasant. I can't even remember just why we needed to be home quite sharpish meaning we just did a couple of there and backs rather than turning it into a circular which would have been a far superior walk. Dispite the lack of photographic evidence, Hughie and Nicola were present but both seemed none too keen on posing unlike the Langdale Pikes which hogged the limelight in their typical photogenic way. of these two small but fine hills 
I tend to think that the lower fells hand out better photo opportunities than some of the giants offer 
plus I also think that these lower fells are greatly under estimated by many walkers whose sights are set firmly on the 'big 'uns'
