Ward's Stone

Tarnbrook - Tarnsyke Clough - Ward's Stone (E top) - Ward's Stone (W top) - Grit Fell - Clougha Pike - Grit Fell - Grizedale Head - Grizedale Bridge - Tarnbrook.

Not as squelchy underfoot as I had feared. Great views across to Ingleborough. Clougha Pike is one of the Trail Magazine's 100 Best UK mountains - a good viewpoint, but a "mountain"? Er, no.

White Hill

From Cross of Greet. Started at the ludicrously late time of 3.20pm. Sunset was about 3.50pm. At top around 4pm for a pretty sunset. Didn't stay long on the top. Part of the descent was in the gloom and part in dark. Very wet under foot.
