I good Sunday stroll round bolton Abbey and Simons seat, The pictures are little grainy due to the light conditions

This is a great walk isn't it. Good paths, a nice rocky summit and an amazing river. :clap:

It certainly is a fantastic place to visit at any time of the year bursting with bird life and very picturesque. Just down the road from me so a great local walk. Here and hard castle crags are two of my favourite places been going to both since I was very young

I have seen grouse up that way, but dont have a good enough zoom for a pic.

ooh lovely. The Valley of Desolation is quite a surprise with the waterfall and all. And much more accessible than it was before CRoW opened things up.
