Very hot but a cooling breeze at times. The badlands between the roman steps and Moel Ysgyfarnogod very difficult and slow because of lack of paths and constant diversions to avoid cliff edges. The walk off is long and tiring but worth it for the stone circle at Bryn Cader Faner.
