Started at 0745hrs,at Castlenook S.W onto Blackhill upto Grey Nags trigpoint,followed the fence to Tom Smiths fence line to Black Fells trigpoint,down to Hartside cafe onto Fiends fells cairn,knapside hill onto Melmerby Fell down to the roman road N.E to meathew hill then between Scarberry hill & Brownside moss to the little hut at grid 691461 for a brew,& then back to the start,finished at 1540hrs,going heavy rain for the 1st hour then showers after that,babies head (elephant grass)very little paths,river crossing at 674413,thigh deep.walking buddies again the mutts Riff Raff,Ludo & Tic Tac. :thumbup:
