Walk undertaken in thick mist and heavy rain - a real disappointment for those for whom this was their first ascent of Scafell Pike. Normally I would have taken in some additional peaks but in the conditions there was little point and nobody else was interested anyway. The conditions made finding the start of the Corridor Route difficult (despite the massive cairn) and in a couple of places difficult to follow. The conditions also made for a rather longer day than would otherwise have been expected.
