Warning Please note that hillwalking when there is snow lying requires an ice-axe, crampons and the knowledge, experience and skill to use them correctly. Summer routes may not be viable or appropriate in winter. See winter information on our skills and safety pages for more information.

NWMC walk led by Cahal. We arrived altitude bit late having driven the scenic road from Beltany where we were staying. Raced in with Oaul to catch up with Cahal, Fiona and Dennis H. Crossed the stream above Altan Farm. Linn on the summary of Aghla Mor. C, F and D headed home. Manus arrived, G and I went to Ardloughnackabrady then walked out around the lake and to the forest with Paul and Manus. Manus gave us a lift back to the cars.
