Ewan and I from Glen Cottage @ Allonby.

Superb day, no cloud and sunny with strong breeze on top. Lots of pockets of snow on upper reaches amongst hordes ascending Englands highest hill. Ewans and I's first wainwright today and his first munro height hill. Family can now claim to have climbed highest hills in Scotland, England, Wales(Lorna) and Ireland.
Grassy ascent of Lingmell to avoid masses on stone stairs to Lingmell col, then quick ascent to sumit cairn and trig. Couple decent breaks on both summits today, Chocolate Orange reward for Ewan on SP, demolished on car trip back to cottage. Descended via Miceldore and scree run where wee knee damage via run in with rock after snow slip. Stone steps until met Lingmell beck where had good dook to cool off. Lorna had chilling out day on beach/cottage.
