Should I go by horse or by foot?

I would advice you to hike in and out if you are fit enough. This gives you the time to enjoy the area at your own pace. The hike out is hard, but if you have the time and the energy you will be fine. The valley you hike through is great, so make sure you set aside enough time for the whole hike.

Feel free to check out my video from when I visited the Wenchi crater lake to see what it is like :) Starting 13 minutes and 35 seconds into the video. The last part of the video is the part where I hiked down into the crater. Unfortunately I did not have enought time to make it all the way.
