Hello, out with the gang again on Saturday, this time a lovely walk around the famous reservoirs in the Derwent Valley, practice area for the legendary Dambuster Raids and sunken communities lost forever beneath the water. We parked up on the A57 at G.R. SK 198 864, the 12.4 mile route taking us through some great place names such as Hurkling Stones, Salt Cellar, Cakes of Bread, Lost Lad and a high on Back Tor of 538m. We had a small shower but a good day weatherwise.
