Gorgeous day up Wales' highest with my friend from work.

She's not particularly keen on drops so opted for the Southern approaches. Up via the entertaining South Ridge and across the narrow Bwlch Main and then down via the well graded Rhyd-Ddu path.

Heaving on top but not so much on the quieter approaches we took.

Starting out. Nice day and the summit clouds would soon lift.

The Nantle Ridge and Mynydd Mawr - terrific bunch of hills

On the South Ridge now with a few minor scrambles. The summit is in view.

The Rhyd-Du path comes in here and you can see Llechog

There's the Moel Ellio ridge on to Snowdon. A big day out.
