I had Friday off but after a busy night at work (and a dreary morning) I couldn't face an early start.

So it was Pendle Hill in the morning from Downham. My favourite route around the hill as it packs lots of ascent in (essentially climbing the hill twice), climbs another little hill on route and takes in most the best bits.

Then with the weather improving a bit, an afternoon stroll up Weets Hill from Barnoldswick before it went dark. Never done this one before but perfectly pleasant.

You pass this farm with strange big heads on route - it's a bit like something from Game of Thrones
