The Resti Pass
On one occasion we couldn't book the hut at the pass as it was full, but managed to get into a berghotel at Kummenalp - about 45 minutes down towards Ferden. From there we chose the 2626m Resti pass the next day. It proved to be quite an easy walk and has the advantage that at the end you can take the Torrent lift down to the Leukerbad avoiding a rather dull descent.
