A walk in the park by my house.

With thoughts for everyone on the front line NHS and emergency services, everyone who has the virus - and all those who have symptoms and are awaiting testing.

Hi Tim,

Lovely photos of nature on a sunny Spring day.

I'm sure at some point (hopefully later this year) we will meet up if you are up in Scotland and enjoy walking amongst the hills taking lots of photos. In the meantime stay safe.

In all the years I've read the reports on this very site, I'd never expect to see Warley Woods!

Lovely place - many happy memories of sledging there as a kid.

Oh yes, I’ve done the sledging, many times!

I see you live in the shadow of the mighty Clent Hills, aka the Halesowen Alps

Some nice pictures; looks a lovely area. A welcome reminder that, despite everything, it is Spring!

Thanks - yes Warley Woods is not quite Scotland- or even the Eden Valley, which is where we'd normally be going for Easter. And its highest pint reaches an altitude of only 236m/775ft. But it's still a rather magical place it its own way.

Lovely Pictures. I suppose you are too far from Great Cockup to go and climb it to commemorate this pandemic.

Thanks Sgurr!

Funnily enough Great Cockup is not too far from my wife's parents, where but for the lockdown we would be now. But that's a minor inconvenience compared to what many people are facing...

Great report and no words needed when seeing nature at its best by way of a photographic report. Minimilist in words, great in images, well done and thanks for this report

lovely pictures. It's interesting that for some of us (myself included) it's taken lockdown to really appreciate what is right under our noses. I realise I'm very fortunate/blessed/privileged to live on the edge of a village with fields and moors on my doorstep but it has been lovely to watch spring unfolding week by week.

Hi Tim

Dame Julie Waters is helping looking out looking after Warley Woods

A wonderful oasis I've loved for 40+ years!
