Should have been in the Austrian Alps this week but Covid meant a staycation instead. Earliest check in 5pm at Keswick Reach for our family holiday due to extra cleaning measures so planned a short hill walk, without too much detour, as only around a 2 hour drive from home.

A few minutes drive from A66 and lucky to get the last space as only room for a few cars by the lane at the start of the walk.

Lack of hill fitness still evident on this short but steep walk. Dry & cloudy but still good views of Penrith & surrounding fells
