Family walk from our holiday at Keswick Reach. Originally hoped for Skiddaw, Little Man & perhaps Lonscale Fell but the MWIS forecast of low thick cloud on the higher tops was correct. Left these for another trip as no chance of any views.

Pleasant walk up to Walla Crag with great views of Derwent Water, Bassenthwaite Lake & Keswick. Continued on to Bleaberry Fell and chatted to a lady who lives a few streets away in Glasgow and takes the orchestra at the primary school the twins went to until last year.

High Seat wasn’t in the original plan but persuaded (bribed) the kids as not too much ascent to add the third summit. Walk from Bleaberry to High Seat and the the initial descent after was very boggy. Continued down to Ashness bridge then back to the car park.
