This board is for meeting up, whether it means arranging group walking trips, or just looking for a partner for your next walk or sharing a lift. There is also a club directory.
Feel free to use this board to arrange to meet up with other walkers, either individually or for a particular walk, or for a larger get together over a weekend. The usual precautions are advised when arranging to meet individuals you have not previously met.
Please note that meetups are NOT arranged by Walkhighlands and everyone who arranges to meet for a walk using this board is responsible for their own safety. Please ensure you do not attempt a walk beyond your own abilities.
Getting fit for some serious summer walking

Got to start somewhere so if you are interested in sharing the pain of getting back into Hill walking all welcomed.
Meeting up on March 4th 8am Upper Mill St Tillicoutry..... Ben Cleuch here we come
Distance 9.5km / 6 milesTime 4.5 - 6 hours Ascent731m
Moderate hillwalk, Terrain will be steep.

You might also want to keep an eye on the MEETUP walking groups, they have them all over & each week I get several invites for walks.

just seen your post I was up Dumyat today would've joined you today if I had seen ur post I do a lot of walking I the Ochil's and stay in the local area I'm looking to do a bit more this summer and always looking for a walking buddy .
