Clyde Mountaineering Club - New Members Welcome

Postby Brodier54 » Tue May 31, 2022 12:08 pm

Hello there.

I just wanted to make a wee post to make people aware of Clyde Mountaineering Club.
We are a new Club, formed at the start of 2022 and we just recently became affiliated with Mountaineering Scotland.

The club is targeted towards people in their 20s and 30s as we thought there was a bit of a gap to fill between university clubs and most other clubs. That being said people of any age are more than welcome and we'd certainly benefit from some experienced walkers.

The difficulty of our walks ranges from intermediate e.g a day out in the Arrochar Alps to trickier stuff like multi munro days with scrambling involved.

You can join the club and see what's on at our website https://clydemc.org
Once you've signed up as well you can join our Discord where myself or other members will be happy to answer any questions.

I hope it's alright to post a little promo like this. I'll see about us getting added to the sticky post shortly.
