I am off on Wed 17th june and Thurs 18th june and doing (Ben Macdui and Cairngorm ) and another munroe the following day.
I am living Perth on wed at 6 AM to start the (Ben macdui and Cairngorm ) anyone would like to join me is very welcomed.
I have not decide wich one to do on Thursday

I'm working Wednesday/Thursday I'm afraid.

Sometime we'll be off on the same day and get out together.

Hi John

I have learned the hard way last wednesday as i climed the Cairngorms and started the walk towards Benmacdui and the mist just camdown and the visibility was very bad i had to comeback and that was a scary experience.
i knew how to head back .

I have just bought Garmin eTrex Summit HC Handheld GPS Unit wich i will get in few days, any advice about the GPS ?
Am off on sunday the 28th june ( day before my holidays to morroco) and if u planning any outing ill will be happy to join u

Hi Jalal,

I'm afraid I'm away at a family get together on that Sunday :(
(i'd rather be on the hills!)

I can't give much help on using a GPS I'm afraid. I suppose that I really ought to get one to play with but I
still trust to my map and compass.
My advice would be to learn map and compass skills thoroughly as well as learning to use the GPS.
