Guide / experienced party - Skye Cuillin hills

Postby highland rambler » Fri Aug 03, 2012 6:20 pm

Hi,
My mate and I have limited mountaineering and no climbing experience but we would like to tackle the Cuillins some time next summer. Can anyone advise on how much we should be paying for a guide to assist us? If so, can you suggest anyone? or is there an experienced party planning to take them on around this time that we could meet up and walk with?
Regards

A fair few dedicated Cuillin guides advertise on our Skye guides page. I think most of those listed have had been featured in some very positive trip reports if you check out the Skye reports :D

Jonah Jones - 100% Inn Pinn record and no fuss. Has some cracking tales as he is a member of the Skye MRT.

Its got to be Skye-Hi. Graham knows evry bit of the Cuillins inside out. If the weathers bad you don't get charged.
His rates are among the lowest on Skye. He'll tailor the climb to suit your ability as well.

That's just what I was thinking reading the posts.

I've heard alot of good stuff about both guide's so go with the one you prefer ... The standard of guiding will be quite simillar but the delivery of it all will be then main diffrence.

Whoever you pick have a great time
