March 2013 Meet - Input

The Macleans would definitely hope to make this meet. March sounds great and depending on location the last weekend would work best for us. That's Easter weekend so much more scope for travelling further from the Thursday evening. Having said that happy to consider anything anywhere

I think my vote goes to Ullapool...it has a campsite, hostel and a great selection of guesthouses...and can be reached by bus for those who are not driving.
Although Knoydart sounds good as well...
Tyndrum I like because it is not that far away from the south and has also some great locations to stay at...Wigwams anyone?

As for the weekend...I would suggest late March...more daylight and hopefully the clocks have changed by then

As for dates, I'm easy, just give me a bit of time to sort the time off (or dive).

March works for me as i have a weeks annual leave which i think(but not 100% sure) is the w/c 18th which would make it the weekend 0f sat 23rd. Not too fussed as i dare say i should be able to get a swap if needs be. Ullapool or Torridon please. Last March's meet was fantastic & made some great new friends so not being able to make the last two has been a touch frustrating.

Ullapool or Affric in late March/early April does it for me, especially with a bothy nearby (though Skye/Torridon/Knoydart ain't bad second options!!).

i'm fine for where ever but Skye and torridon top of the list for me (knoydart would be up there but want to finish on those hills so i'd end up drinking all weekend )

Dont mind location but preferably early - mid March would be better for me to get the weekend off......... before the tourists start arriving and I've perhaps moved somewhere else

Well done GGE for picking up the gauntlet! I'm definitely up for getting to the next meet (hopefully poorly pooches will be sufficiently recovered by then for a wee holiday in the nearest kennel!). I'm easy re where and can safely say I've nothing in my diary for March!

Whenever, wherever is my input. I know there is a period in March when I can't take holidays but it would only affect me making it a long weekend like I normally do with meets.

Liking the comments and interest of a Kintail proposal again that I've seen on facebook. Excellent base where we are most welcome with so much on the doorstep plus driving options for Skye, Torridon, Strathcarron and even Ullapool
