After a swift bit of correspondence with folk on here we've decided that the location of the next meet will be Kinlochleven and the dates will be Friday 8th and Sat 9th November.

I've booked out the whole of Blackwater Hostel, which has pretty good facilities and space for up to 39 in a variety of room sizes.

I'm going to set the cost at £20 per night which gives a bit of flexibility with numbers - we need 25 people per night to break even. If we manage to fill it then I will refund some of the cost or keep it for a kitty

Please let me have names of those who would like to come along to the 10th - or is it the 11th or 12th?? meet.

I'll then get in touch about payment by PM - would like this settled within a fortnight after confirming you're coming.

I'll start a little prayer to the weather gods now for a good weather window

Phew!!, had a slight wobble there..........I'm on holiday in Spain first week in November

But........return flight lands at Edinburgh 4.30 on the Friday afternoon..........it'll be straight home to an already packed car and then heading for Kinlochleven

For those that want to be less sociable there are also Hobbit houses that can be rented

Having trouble pm you weaselmaster but just flying out now and wont be around until end of Sept.

Have stayed at Blackwater a number of times - great accommodation and choice of ice climbing or pubs for when the weathers bad.
