If things work out as current plans, then I hope to manage along to this meet. Probs at the camp-site or lurking.

Enquired about a booking with the camp-site, mentioning that there may be quite a number more campers, and received the following reply:

"You do not need to book for tents as always plenty room. Just turn up and select a spot of your choice Regards James
- Sent from James Keith, Sango Sands"

Neither myself or Sick Kid will be able to make this one now - can't get the monday off work, something major on that day.
Pity, but hope others enjoy it

Hi Gary, can I clarify your intentions - Bunkhouse/Camping/Lurking? If you are looking at the bunkhouse, I will initially put you on the bench - depends on whether there will be any spare beds, as one night makes things a bit complicated

Might look in to say hello and tag along on any shorter walk. We or me would find own accommodation.

Martin hi!
I could not do WH last two meetings but wanted so much. Now I am going to come. Am I right that the hostel is full? I've bought one person tent at the Amazon 5 min ago and will probably camp if somebody is there around to give me a master class. :?

Hi Jelena - good to hear from you, good news for you there are a few spare beds in the bunk house if you would rather sleep in a bed? I will put you on the bunkhouse list & send you a PM soon

Folks,

Think I'm gonna back out of this one, just a wee bit too far for me to drive; since I work as a contractor a day off = 1 days pay lost and also the Sunday clashes with something else I have arranged. Hopefully manage the next one.

Durness is a lovely wee place, with a nice shop and a very efficient ATM machine at the post office. I know this because I actually worked on a project upgrading the post office ATM's which are owned by the Bank of Ireland 2 years ago and this one was my furthest away trip. So there...........
