The ferry is now confirmed for 11 of us. We'll meet Angus, who pilots the boat, at the north end of the Loch Mullardoch dam, near the start of the WH route. 1st sailing 9:00 am, 2nd is due for 9:30 am. WH say parking at this end of the dam is very limited, but there are further parking spots a little way back along the minor road.

11 of us - that makes a great Anglo-Scottish football team, ready to rival Celtic and Leicester City! Let's get out there and have a successful day ourselves.

Great stuff Simon, thanks for that
I notice on the map there is a parking area on the SOUTH side of the dam, anyone any idea how many cars can be parked there?

Thanks David. I did ask our chums on FB and a couple of replies confirmed the above.
With that in mind it is probably better we park at the south side of the dam and either walk to the start or squish into a couple/three cars

Last time we parked at the dam, there is a sizeable car park and it is only a couple of minutes walk to the jetty.
See you there
Cheers

Hi

Have you still got any space in the boat? One person and a dog if possible.

Thanks

Hi Laura, yes we can squeeze you in - not sure about the dog. It would be best if you contacted the ferry/boat operator directly to see if he is happy to take a dog?

Out of interest what sort of dog? Not sure about the terrain and the suitability for a dog, no doubt someone will be able to advise

Hi

Great I can join. Do you have a contact number for the ferryman?

Ginny the dog is a lab spaniel cross. I looked at photos on the reports and it looks ok for dogs but happy to take advice.

Cheers

Laura, I agree with Martin, it's a good idea to ring Angus the ferryman. If you quote my name it should be ok, as I booked the boat. Also, please let him know you are the 12th member of the team as well as about the dog, because I had confirmed 11 as the final number. Looking forward to seeing you Sunday,
Simon

Really looking forward to meeting everyone on Sunday for my first WH walk. I've decided to make a weekend of it & will be travelling across on Saturday morning & plan on walking Tom a' Choinich and Toll Creagach in Glen Affric then as the forecast looks good.

If anyone fancies joining me I'd be glad of the company.

What time are you thinking of starting Toll and Tom on Saturday, Bruce? It's just an outside possibility I could be there; I would have to drive up overnight Friday into Saturday. But if I could bag these 2 with you, it would leave me free to do the Carn Eige 3 with Martin (Fife Flyer) on Monday.
