Warning Feel free to use this board to arrange to meet up with other walkers, either individually or for a particular walk, or for a larger get together over a weekend. The usual precautions are advised when arranging to meet individuals you have not previously met.

Hi there aussiegirl. ...no problems if you want to join is on 12th. Where are you based? I'm only mid level fitness. .49 and do my best lol. Should be at least 2 others on the day....it's a 2 car trick as a lonnnnnng walk back otherwise. Keep in touch and hope to see you there. Gill 8)

Hi Gill,

This looks really good and I would love to come along but might not be able to commit until next Tuesday as I will then have a better picture of if I will see the boys or not that weekend. Also, I might need to check the working hours of a new friend before making any firm plans.

:crazy: So really what I'm saying is maybe yes, maybe no. Helpful or what!!! :lol:

ha ha,,no worries David,,,Hopefully your new friend (Bridge of Allan by any chance?) plans will allow a workaround lol

I done these 5 last summer and took my bike but thought I would chance my arm at the start and caught a lift from a friendly forestry worker, always better when you smell nice at the outset!!! I have only hitched 3 times and have always got lucky.......

Haha don't think I've hitched since we were trying to get to the swimming baths when I was about 10 (don't tell me mum lol) hopefully manage the two car trick. :D

Right all,,starting to weather watch for this. Sunday is still the majority choice and we defo need two cars (we will have 1)

Anyone else still interested,,,we would need a commitment from 1 other driver, let me know and we can start to pull together plans,,unless this weeks forecast thunder and lightning is due to hit lol

as fast as the slowest walker .... probably about the same sort of walk as the SGSR , what was your time for that Gill ....10hrs ?
