Walkhighlands

Hey all
I am delighted to announce the Walkhighlands Spring Meet will take place between Friday 13th and Sunday 15th April 2018 and be held in The Cairngorms at the Braemar SYHA.

(Corrie Ferragie Lodge, 21 Glenshee Rd, Braemar, Ballater AB35 5YQ)

There are 40 Beds available, details of which I will put up later when I am home from work.


Unfortunately camping isn`t allowed on the grounds, however the Braemar Caravan Park is pretty much just across the road from the Hostel.

Dogs are allowed.

Car parking for 14 vehicles.

Beds will be priced at £20 per head per night.

So if interested comment below and either DM me or Facebook Message if you like, for payment details of my offshore bank account.

As usual, beds will only be reserved once payment has been received.

My birthday weekend (and it's less than an hour away)

I'm up for some of that! (and ALMOST my birthday weekend lol)

I'll be there Tommy, nice one. Have loads to do there. I may brave the tent this time though - I'll let you know.

Splendid. We've been overdue return to Braemar for a meet and I haven't been up that way in a while.

Will have to wait in 2018 rotas to confirm.

Cracking job there tommy can i reserve 2 beds for me and Anne if uts possible to get a room that allows dogs that would be great

About as far from my birthday weekend as it is possible to get!

I may still be there though, although I'll probably be a lurker!

Welldone Tommy, may have brought the van but the better value is the hostel. Will let you know asap. The campsite for a van is almost £40 plus £15 per additional person over the driver. Tents you have to phone.
