I've managed to get the Friday off work and intend to drive up super-early and ferry the car over to Raasay for a scoot around and a bit of walking. Particularly interested in a walk to Hallaig and maybe a hike up Dun Caan. If anybody fancies joining me then get in touch and it'll save ferrying two cars over.

I've also taken the week after the meet off and have booked ferries to spend a few days exploring Harris and the Uists if anybody fancies teaming up for some walks over there. I've already done the Clisham but would do it again. I'm booked into the Am Bothan hostel in Leverburgh on the 15th & 16th and will just "wing it" at Howmore on South Uist after that as they don't take bookings and advise that you're unlikely to be turned away.

FAO RMed, BlackPanther & Kevin our InPinn & Sgurr MhicConnich trip on the Saturday is all booked and paid for and Paddy has asked that I phone him after 6:30pm on the Friday once he has an up-to-date weather forecast and we'll make arrangements from there.

We haven't been to Raasay yet. I have to ask Kevin, we might get tempted. If weather is good, would be lovely to climb Dun Caan and visit Brochel Castle :D

We have two weeks off now starting this weekend and finishing with the WH Meet, so we will most likely go to Skye a few days earlier, all depending on weather... I don't want to do anything long and tiring the day before the Inn Pinn, just in case, so we don't end up injured for the big day

Hi Gill, looking at the website it looks like we have to bring our own sleeping bags, toilets etc are nearby.

Cut and pasted just for you.

""The wigwams have electric heating and lighting, and are comfortably equiped with mattresses, seating, and a table. They also have microwaves, kettles, fridges, radio/cd players, and socket outlets. The toilets & showers are situated nearby, and there is also access to all of the facilities in the main bunkhouse (subject to availablity) which include a large kitchen, and a spacious dining and lounge area. You can bring your own sleeping bags or we can provide sleeping bags for a small fee. The Wigwams also have little barbeques for those summer evenings - on request.""

All bed linen is provided including sleeping bags, you only have to bring a towel. I was just chatting tonight with the owner (Theresa) and she clarified this.
