My friend Eloise and I (+my Border Collie) are coming up from Birmingham to stay in a self-catering place near Braemar for a week from this weekend coming. We're both early 30s, fairly fit and knowledgeable 3 season walkers. Our winter experience is pretty limited (especially in Scotland), although we have the right gear.
If anyone wanted to join us/lead us on a walk during the course of the week, please get in touch. It'd be great to have someone with us who has a bit more experience to do some winter Munros on some respectable but not too enormous days out.
Obviously conditions will dictate things to some degree, but I'm quite keen to visit dark Lochnagar!
