Did this last weekend and almost got locked in (got to the gate at 6.40 with 20 minutes to spare after starting at 10.30). Also, the bog slog between the dam and Carn nan Gobhar is hellish. Your much better getting the Mullardoch ferry to the base of An Socach and doing the whole circuit back to Carn nan Gobhar if you can face parting with £25. You also don't have to chase after grumpy Yorkshire lady with a padlock!
