This board is for meeting up, whether it means arranging group walking trips, or just looking for a partner for your next walk or sharing a lift. There is also a club directory.
Feel free to use this board to arrange to meet up with other walkers, either individually or for a particular walk, or for a larger get together over a weekend. The usual precautions are advised when arranging to meet individuals you have not previously met.
Please note that meetups are NOT arranged by Walkhighlands and everyone who arranges to meet for a walk using this board is responsible for their own safety. Please ensure you do not attempt a walk beyond your own abilities.

Guys, I am going to Kintail Friday 27th-Sunday 29th April to do the Sisters and Glen Carron area and on Monday 30th its off to Skye to do the Cioch if anyone is looking to do anything over this period please let me know I will be coming from Edinburgh early Friday and home again Monday late afternoon.

I'm (weather dependent!) doing the Sisters or Brothers earlier in April - but if I do the Brothers then, I'd certainly be interested in doing the Sisters with you, I'm free the Fri or Sat. Better to do it with someone to have the 2 car solution to the 1-way walk!

Did the Brothers last year and really enjoyed it I can travel up crack of dawn on the Friday or at night I am staying at the Kintail Hotel the Friday & Saturday night then on Sunday night going over to Carbost to stay then the Cioch on the Monday travelling home later that afternoon
I am flexible both ways on Friday and will fit into other plans we can also come off after Sgurr Fhuaran to shorten the day
Sat or Sun maybe Beinn Fhada and agree weather dependent but at the end of April should be fine so let me know great to make contact with you all

Are you still up for Friday?
If so, I think I'll come across Thursday night & stay at the Kintail Lodge so we can hopefully get an early start as I need to drive back to Aberdeen after.
