In the light of the current pandemic and all the uncertainty about the coming months, I've made the decision that the Knoydart 2020 Meet will not go ahead as planned this July.
I have deferred the booking for a year - the meet will now take place Friday 9th July - Sunday 11th July (exactly a year on from this year)
If you have booked a bunk for this year - your place and money automatically will roll over to next year - you don't need to do anything. If you don't want to come next year then I'll arrange for refunds and the bunks can be resold.
I hope that this is satisfactory to everyone

In addition - I'm organising a ZOOM meeting Quiz on the Saturday 11th July 2020 for all those who would have been at the Meet. If you'd like in, let me know - it should be a good laugh

Stay well and stay responsible

The 2020 Summer Meet with be held at the Knoydart Foundation Bunkhouse in Inverie
THIS MEET IS NOW SOLD OUT!
There's a reserve list in case anyone pulls out, and you can still camp. But the Bunk House is full

There are 26 bunks up for grabs priced at £37 per head for the 2 nights.
For campers there is a good campsite around 100 yards from the bunkhouse at Long Beach on Loch Nevis also run by the Foundation. There is no need to book.
For obvious reasons campervans are a no-go for this meet (unless you have a hovercraft attachment

Check-in at the bunkhouse on Friday is 3pm and check-out on Sunday 10am.
Dogs are welcome but must be kept on leads in the village and will cost £5 per night.
Now for the logistical fun bit – Inverie is accessible either by a very long walk for anyone feeling particularly intrepid, or by boat from Mallaig.
Ferry timetable can be found here and it is advisable to book in advance (compulsory for first and last boat of the day) and other ferry information is here
More details and information about charters can be found here
The bunkhouse in Inverie is a half mile walk from the ferry. There is a landrover based at Inverie and owned by the foundation which can be used to help carry luggage (people still have to walk!). It is £25 each way so worth clubbing together if folk want assistance carrying their crates of beer

There is a shop in Inverie for anyone wishing to travel light and more information about eating out can be found here
Let me know either on here or by PM if you’d like a bunk and I’ll get payment details to you
