WH Summer Meet - 8-10 JULY 2022

Re: WH Summer Meet - Inverie 10-12 July 2020 NOW 9-11 JULY 2

Postby Jaxter » Mon Mar 08, 2021 1:51 pm

YET ANOTHER ANNOUNCEMENT!!

Have just been in touch with the Bunkhouse, and for a number of reasons they are not having bookings this summer. I've made the decision to defer the whole thing by a year - fingers crossed everyone will have been vaccinated and we'll be able to enjoy ourselves with less worry!

So KNOYDART MEET JULY 8-9th 2022!

If you've paid for a bed, you keep your bed. Anyone wanting money back, please get in touch, otherwise I'll assume that you're happy to keep your place.

If you've paid an extra night, Fiona from the bunkhouse will be in touch with you separately.

Yes, that happens increasingly frequently when you reach my advanced years...

What's a year here or there...???

Wouldn't have minded too much missing the last year to be honest!!

If any spaces come available I'd be happy to take one. Not that I know what I'll be doing in July 2022, but it would be nice to be in Inverie. Please add me to the waiting list.

If spaces don't free up you could still come along and camp :) or there are also other places to stay in Inverie if camping isn't your thing

Hi Jackie, excellent news let's hope we get the green light.

If you could include me, George and Parminder, I have been in touch with Martin (M4RTIN) to see if he is available.

Hi Jackie, I've got my name down for this but will be unable to make it this year as most of my annual leave from work is already committed to other stuff and unfortunately this was the trip that had to be sacrificed.

If you manage to get my bed sold to another taker then just put any refund money towards raffle prizes or something.

That's very kind - thankyou. I need to dig out my spreadsheet at some point and work out what's going on with this

Hi Jackie - hope you’re well!
Once you’ve dug your spreadsheet out can you pop me on whatever reserve list there might be please??
Thanks! :)
Ryan.

Hi Jackie
Thanks for all the info, especially about the landrover beer ferry service! I thought I'd be alright carrying my gear half a mile until you mentioned beer!
