Individual Hill Walk Reports

Individual Hill Walk Reports

Postby Jim777 » Tue Feb 16, 2021 10:45 pm

Notice when I look at the walk reports for individual hills e.g. Deuchary Hill the walk I did earlier on this month does not appear - likewise with my other walks. How can I rectify this so that they do appear.

Usually you see your own reports in a little separate section above the main list - have you looked there, or have they just vanished?

When you are doing your report you need to add the hill from the relevant tick list for the report to be linked directly to the hill page. In the case of Deuchary, if you click on the 'click here' it brings up a list of the sub-2000 hills which can be narrowed down by region. You can edit your reports to include it :)

If I remember correctly, something happened about a year or so ago with the reporting function, such that in order to get the hills listed in your report, you need to enter them as the last thing you do before you submit the report...

You're ok if you write a whole report in one go, you can choose the hills as early as you like then - but yes, they do like to fall out if you save a draft.
