Walkhighlands server gives you a limit of 25 photies per post... If you want to add more, you have to upload your pictures to an external server (e.g. Flickr) and then just copy-paste the "image location" codes. I once had the same issue and now I use Picasa Web, they give you 5GB, I think, of free space to upload.
But it's dangerous... Since I started using external server, I put too many pictures in my reports

I'm sure I have seen some reports which anchor urls, i.e.

<a href="url">link text</a>

but when I try this is just shows the actual code.
Is it possible to hyperlink neatly and if so how :?:

I have just recently worked out how to do it  After 5 years of posting on WH!!! That says something about my programming skills

Here is how I did it in my last report...

[url***=http://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=53694]Buy one get one free in Ardtalnaig[/url]

If you remove the asterisks *** it should appear as a blue hyperlink:

I still can't work it out.

I copy the share links and post but when I preview they just come up as wee boxes with a X :?

Can I use links from Microsoft's One Drive because that's now where I keep all my images?

Took me a few goes as well
I'm now using Flickr
Click on the photo > click the share button > choose third option along bbc code.
Then paste all
I then delete the last couple of lines to remove the flickr stuff

I think this is how I'm doing it, I'll check in the morning if you are still having issues...
Not sure about onedrive, think it just works like dropbox and although you can share it does it differently.
Flickr's fine

I tried One Drive, too (it comes free with my email account) but I couldn't work it out. When you click on a particular photo, in the upper right corner there is a command "embed". Clicking on it, new window pops up, called "embed photo in a blog or web page" and it generates HTML code. Technically, copying and pasting this code should embed your photo in WH post, but the code is strange, my example:

<iframe src="https://onedrive.live.com/embed?cid=462F8E1F5A00AC21&resid=462F8E1F5A00AC21%21193&authkey=ACaIWCDAuu90ivc" width="320" height="240" frameborder="0" scrolling="no"></iframe>

After removing all the frame, width etc rubbish, I'm left with:
https://onedrive.live.com/embed?cid=462 ... CDAuu90ivc

which will display the photo when I click on the link (this one should be an image of Easter cake  ) but it does not want to work as embedded picture :problem: :problem: :problem: :problem:

maybe someone can take this further, I'm not great with all that computer stuff!

With Picasa it's so much easier. Once photos are uploaded to the album, right-click on your chosen picture and choose "copy image location". Then return to WH and simply paste the code:

Highlight the code and click IMG button:

[img]***https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-8PGzkN57Gwc/Tx1Kn30k0sI/AAAAAAAAD88/wiZb330dpBI/s512-Ic42/duffus%252520castle%252520001.JPG***[/img]

Without the asterisks it embeds nicely:

Hope this helps...
I don't use flickr but I imagine the embedding procedure will be similar there?

This is exactly what I do, and it works for me. Key is to choose the BBC code. Also helps if you keep the pic size to medium (600 x 800 pixels I think), otherwise it takes eons to download into the report.

Good luck.

 Looks like that rucksack is missing a pole

If you want the photo to display, then I've highlighted with pink bits

Flickr one.jpg

Flickr two.jpg

You can choose the resolution, I've just been leaving the default large and then if I have anything interesting if blown up put a link to the photo on Flickr

Flickr three.jpg

and then I take out code after the last closing [/url] tag

Flickr four.jpg

so that I just get the photo and not the Flickr links etc.

Hope this helps
