Problems with display some hill pages

Postby malky_c » Tue Apr 10, 2018 3:03 pm

Hi

I just had a look at the hill pages for each of the Cheviot Hewitts - there seems to be a problem there. See my screenshot:

I don't know how many pages have this problem. I have viewed them on Internet Explorer 11 and whatever version of Microsoft Edge is on my laptop.

Just to add another small issue... The link for the list of Walkhighlanders who have climbed a particular hill does not work for Grahams and Sub'2 Marylins. It works fine fine for Munros and Corbetts.

Thanks, have fixed the broken Hewitts. The 'who has climbed' has never worked (!) for the S2s and Grahams, will get that sorted when back at the office (Friday)

That was quick - thanks! Glad it was an easy fix - well if must've been if you managed it while gallivanting around the country  .

It's amazing what you can do with a laptop tethered to a phone on the north side of Loch Torridon.

The bit where you can click to view all the people who have climbed a Graham or a Sub 2000 (and don't have their hills set to be private) should now be working too.

Still seem to be having a problem with the Waingrights and Hewitts - the report screen shows no options for these - just the Scottish lists.

Im using Firefox - but I did try MS Edge - that came up with a HTTP 500 error when I tried to click on 'walks diaries'

Is this still a known problem

Regards

Are you trying to write a report? If so, you can't tag an English hill in a Scottish report*, or vice versa, but if you choose 'New Walk Report - Outside Scotland' you'll get the lists of Wainwrights and Hewitts to choose from.

*which could be a problem in the Cheviots, I suppose - Windy Gyle is both a Donald and a Hewitt, but the little Marilyns would need a separate report.

The links from individual hills to the reports written about them are working for me.

If you go to the Outside Scotland reports board and click new topic, you'll also get the Hewitt and Wainwright options that way too.
