Anyone had any experience with this tent, defiantly a clone of the Vango Nevis, coming in at around 2.03kg £75

I haven't used it but it's a good price, similar Vango/Robens weight, no reason it won't do you fine.

If you're not married to the design, for a wee bit more you can shed a clean kilogram of weight. Look to the Naturehike Cloud-Up, Cloud-Wing, or Vik series. Lots of options to have a look around, plenty of time to do it too.

Might be a bit tight for 2 with gear.

I'd look at what extra weight and cost a 3 person tent would involve - 2 person will mean 2 people jammed in shoulder to shoulder with little room for gear or movement. Fine in good weather when you're near a pub, perhaps, but if you're stuck in there for a long rainy day...
