Garmin Maps

Ive just recently purchased a Garmin Instinct Solar that im hoping to test out over the next couple of weeks. Does anyone have any recommendations for where to download routable maps from?

Great watch, I love mine and my other watches have become redundant as the Instinct Solar is my everyday day wear.

In answer to your question, pick a route/hill off this website and you can download the gpx file.

In addition to the main GPX files the site hosts on the individual hills and routes, also look at people's individual walk reports. If they have done a route that you like, one perhaps not in the site's database, quite often they'll have uploaded a GPX route (you'll know if you see a map as part of their walk report with their route superimposed) then you can load that and follow it.

That said, these are TRAILS. I don't believe the Instinct has the horsepower to upload MAPS.
