Ive just recently purchased a Garmin Instinct Solar that im hoping to test out over the next couple of weeks. Does anyone have any recommendations for where to download routable maps from?

Great watch, I love mine and my other watches have become redundant as the Instinct Solar is my everyday day wear. :lol:

In answer to your question, pick a route/hill off this website and you can download the gpx file. :thumbup:

In addition to the main GPX files the site hosts on the individual hills and routes, also look at people's individual walk reports. If they have done a route that you like, one perhaps not in the site's database, quite often they'll have uploaded a GPX route (you'll know if you see a map as part of their walk report with their route superimposed) then you can load that and follow it.

That said, these are TRAILS. I don't believe the Instinct has the horsepower to upload MAPS.
