I used a bin liner for years never had an issue with wet gear inside my rucksack. Recently purchased some drybags whch are great for identifying kit inside.

I recently sold my Hot Ice for more than I paid for it back in the 90s. It was still in perfect condition but I wanted one with side pockets and more bits to it. After much research I plumped for this 40l one from Decathlon. I can pack it for an overnighter with tent and sleeping bag if I’m canny and so far I can’t fault it for the price. They come in different sizes and have a 10 year guarantee
