Hmm, I see Garmin TOPO Great Britain V2 PRO 1:50K microSD/SD card at £200. That would be the equivalent of about £1 per map if they were paper maps.
Then there is this ebay site just mentioned which will sell you the same thing for £40, actually better than the same thing since it has 1:25K as well as 1:50K: TOPO GREAT.BRITAIN PREMIUM OS MAPS FOR.Garmin HANDHELD GPS.UNITS 1:25k 1:50k. That looks more like the "Garmin TOPO Great Britain V2 PRO 1:25K microSD/SD card" which others sell for £350.
But the ebay one is ".Micro SD card & SD adapter only No packaging"
Hmm, why would they sell something worth £350 for £40? And why would it have no packaging? What a puzzle.
And why will people contentedly fill up their tanks for maybe £75, which will be burned off with a small number of Munro-bagging trips, but balk at paying maybe £200 for detailed up to date maps of the entire country that will be good for years?
